Why not? Its jokes and stuff. This is stuff. Of course some will read political but these are just observations from years gone by to present. Just take them for that.

I agree-- it is "stuff" and observations on our curent culture. In my high school, most of us guys wore Buck 110's on our belt (sometimes in class we would demonstrate our skill with the thumb opening the lockblade) and I would say more than half of the guys had either a hunting rifle or .22 in the back of the car/pick-up.

Two years ago my son was expelled for 3 days because he had his nail clippers in his backpack.

Go figure. :glare:

Ahh the good old days. I don't go back 50 years, but I can back 30.

Grocery shopping in mid winter NY

1977

Its freezing outside (-20F), dad goes outside to start the car. The choke is not quite up to snuff, so there is much fussing about, blue fingers, bitching, etc. On the way to the store one of the bias ply tires blows out.

2007

Family piles into the minivan, go to store, come back and enjoy cheddar ale soup. Good stuff.
