Following the discussion on Stereo for LD rides link, I checked out this review in WebBikeWorld and asked at Sena. This is what I got back from customer support:

"Thank you for your inquiry. The SM10 is not released nor do I have information about this device. The only thing I know is that it will be similar to the SR10 but for stereo audio. I don't think it's going to incorporate two way radios. I would check our website in a couple of weeks to see if our product team will release information about this product. Thank you again."

Sure looking like the SM10 won't do the radio interface that I'd like

So if anybody wants to sell their SR10, drop me a line.

Cheers,

7X

Donno that anyone has an SR10 yet. However, I would suggest going to Mishacycles.com and contacting Alex the owner. Used to be Cougar8000 here. He is on top of the Sena stuff and offers a forum discount.

Bike Effects also offers a Forum Discount on Sena and other products. See link below.

Before you rush off and spend all your money you might want to have a look at Sena's latest offering -

Dear Sena customers,

We are so pleased to announce the release of our entry-level Motorcycle Bluetooth Communication System, the SMH5. The SMH5 is designed with Bluetooth v3.0 technology and allows riders to wirelessly make mobile calls, listen to stereo or mp3 player music or audio instruction of GPS navigation. Riders can also effortlessly hold conversations with another motorcyclist or the passenger via the SMH5's two-way, multi-pair Bluetooth intercom system.

"The SMH5 shares many of the award-winning features our customers love about our flagship SMH10 Bluetooth Headset and Intercom, and comes in at a very accessible price point for all riders," said Tae Kim, President and CEO of Sena Technologies, Inc. "We listened to and made sure we addressed the needs of motorcycle and scooter riders looking for optimal capability in a wireless communication device. We feel the SMH5 offers many features missing from other Bluetooth devices designed for motorcyclists."

Thanks to the latest Bluetooth v3.0 and its advanced digital processing technology, riders will find the Sena SMH5 to offer the best audio quality for both incoming and outgoing sound in its class. Motorcyclists who wear gloves while riding may appreciate the easy-to-access and intuitive button and dial operations. Riders may hold conversations at normal volume with a passenger or another motorcycle rider, spanning a distance of one-quarter mile in open terrain via the multi-pair intercom capability. The SMH5 also supports the Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), so one may not only listen to the music wirelessly over Bluetooth, but also remotely control music playback on compatible Bluetooth audio devices. In addition, the integrated audio booster of the SMH5 provides sufficient sound level for the best sound experience in noisy environments, and the SMH5 may be charged while in use.

The SMH5 retails for $129.00(99 EUR) for a single kit, $249.00(189 EUR) for a dual kit and is available. For more information on the SMH5 and all other Sena products, please visit www.senabluetooth.com

All I gotta say is that SENA's customer service rocks! I sent in a unit for service and they gave me a whole new dualset package back! The unit malfunctioned during the warranty period, but I was tardy getting it in. They took my word for when it happened and replaced it under warranty.

They have been nothing but outstanding for me.! :yahoo:
