I have acquired a Sena SMH-10 unit and installed it in my RF-1100 Shoei. The unit works as advertised with my 550 Zumo and iPhone 5s. The only thing that needs improvement for me is the Sena voice prompt volume. I have searched the manual, the Sena Help Forum and several M/C forums for how to increase the volume of the prompts but haven't found any info. Can this be done? If so, how? Any help appreciated.

The was a recent firmware update, go online to update your unit, this may help your voice prompt.

Checked the firmware update…its the most recent. Hotrod, the prompts I have difficulty with are the ones such as "speed dial"…..the ones driven by the Sena unit itself, not the Bluetooth devices. I have also moved the speakers to the loudest location (I was surprised at what a difference a small change in location made). Still can't hear the prompts at speed.

The voice prompts has it's own, separate volume level (separate from bluetooth, etc). It can be adjusted via the main dial, but the trick is to do it during a voice prompt. I find it easiest to adjust when I first turn it on, and she says "Hello...phone connected"
