Rode to work yesterday using my Sena without issue. I powered it down when I got there. When I went to leave the unit would not power up. The charge light comes on and I fully charged it today, but it still would not power up. I opened it up to make sure the buttons were actually working. I disconnected the battery, found that the buttons both appear to be working. Plugged the battery back in and it powered up! Awesome! Powered it down and it would not power back up. There is also a reset button that, when pushed, will provide the same results as disconnecting the battery. Anybody have any ideas?

In the mean time, I ordered a new one and sent an inquiry to Sena. I would love to get this one working again as a spare.

My wife's did that when we took it out of the box. Hit the reset button and it's been good since. You've had yours for a while. Might just be getting flaky.

Bob, I'm a good for nothing poster. However it would be nice to know what Sena has to say about your half dead unit if you hear from them.

Bob or the Sena?
How is that helpful Doug?
Bugnatr is just trying to make sure the problem is defined correctly...you can't solve the problem unless you ask the right questions.
Mark and Doug! What a pair they make!

I will post it here if I get any results from them. They did acknowledge my ticket with an email, so I hoping someone will look at it. In the mean time I ordered a new unit.

Wow Bob...I think you might need a Snickers bar.

Oh, ****...I didn't realize it was Bob's unit that's not working. How is this new information?

I wasn't sure if this was a serious or sarcastic response at first. Then I thought AJ? Serious? So the appropriate response.......

This happened to me the other day. I took it apart and unplugged the battery - thinking I may need a new one. When I plugged it back in, it worked fine. Just a loose connection I suppose.
