I'm curious also. I have one, and don't know how I ever managed without it.

"Just curious. Why are you getting rid of it?"

Just re-thinking my electronics setup. Going minimalist. Why do you ask?

Your link has a tab to a no questions asked 30 day refund policy from Sena. Why not take advantage of that rather than the $50 hit...

Bought it from Revzilla. While they are normally a good bunch to deal with, they don't accept returns on any electronics.

Wow...so SENA accepts that but a distributor doesn't. THAT sucks. Good luck to somebody on the SR10...

If I could get any of my riding buddies to get FRS or GMRS radios I'd be on this.

However with a Zumo 660 I'm not sure whether the pairing would work - The questions are whether you pair the radio and cell to the SR10 and then the SR10 to the Zumo (would the BT pass the PTT signals back through the Zumo?) - or do you put the SR10 between the Zumo and the headset (in which case you lose the stereo image form the music player).

I know that the SM10 is an interesting device except that it doesn't accept an inbound BT connection - It will split a stereo and a mono audio souce to two headsets (so that both can listen to stereo music), but neither has direct control of the music source the way you do with a BT connection to the headset.

While the headet is GREAT, for my purposes I find that each of the Sena accessories seems to be a bit shy ion terms of functionality

I have my cellphone paired to my Zumo 665, which pairs to my headset. My Nuvi has a hardware to the SR10, as does my Kenwood 2-way, and the SR10 then also pairs to my headset. Using this configuration, I get both GPS feeds, XM Radio, 2-war radio and intercom all wireless to my helmet. For me, this is the perfect setup.

So you're saying that you can pair the SR10 AND the Zumo, with all it's connections to the headset at the same time? I don;t have 2 GPS units but I do want to bring the GMRS (Kenwood TK3101) on board - though maybe a 2 mater rig makes more sense, seeing that as I said, none of the riding buddies will carry a radio.

Now, if only the SM10 could ALSO connect (given the Zumo's propensity to hog all the profiles) AND had an A2DP input that allowed passthrough control the way the primary does. . . . . .

I think that if you hardwire the Zumo and a radar detector (or another input source) to the SR10 and then pair a cell phone to the SR10 all is good. Just as Bramfrank stated all output from the SR10 is mono. If you use multiport pairing on the SMH10, you can pair your smart phone/Iphone directly to the headset. By doing this I believe you can use your cell as a stereo music source and still receive signal from the SR10. I'm going to give this a try in the next few days. Shouldn't be this hard!

Sorry that I started that thread hijack!

But at least you kept getting bumped! Good luck with the sale.

Made a second request for return of the SR10 and Revzilla went ahead and authorized it. Happy ending. Kudos to Revzilla
