Where is the sensor for the air temp on the GenII and GenIII? Just bought an aftermarket one and wondering where to put the sensor.
Some like it hot.I wish I could adjust the temperature that is shown on the dash. Mine appears to read about 2 degrees higher than the ambient temperature.
Tom: What gizmo did you get?Where is the sensor for the air temp on the GenII and GenIII? Just bought an aftermarket one and wondering where to put the sensor.
I have observed that mine is pretty accurate except when stopped and influenced by a hot engine or the sun. That is only about 2% error which isn't bad.I wish I could adjust the temperature that is shown on the dash. Mine appears to read about 2 degrees higher than the ambient temperature.
My thought exactly. Hence, the 2% error comment.Ok, I have to ask: On a motorcycle, out in the open air riding around the country side, what difference does 2º make to anything?
Tape an ice cube to the sensor.I wish I could adjust the temperature that is shown on the dash. Mine appears to read about 2 degrees higher than the ambient temperature.
