Had the ignition service done and basic oil change to check out the dealer. Sounds weird, but I start to judge the competence or lack thereof on some basic stuff like OVERFILLING THE FRIGGING OIL.......I'm happy to say my experience at RN Rancho was unremarkable. Oil was correct and the bike was done on time and presented to me no dirtier than prior to the service. Overall a good day for RN.

I was quoted some ungodly price for a set of Pilot Roads due to some very premature cupping on the front (2500 miles). I attribute this to ****** tires and one to many triple digit runs thru the middle of the state. But I'm sure parts will greatly reduce their price to sell me the pilots. They stated they were willing to talk...... I'm happy to say RN on Rancho was a pleasant experience, and I feel a Yamma tech actually worked on the bike rather than a high school shop class......Barry

Good to know. I used to take mine to the shop on Sahara but they are closed now. I heard some employees transferred to the Rancho store.

Check out Motorcycle Tire Center on Charleston for tires. They had a much better price on the PR2's. In and out in a little over an hour.

Motorcycle Tire Center on Charleston, is that at Eastern? I remember seeing when I've been out and about...

Try SW moto for tires.

Thanks Guys, I have used MTC several times and I have no complaints. If RNow can come close, I'd like to support our local dealer, but we'll see. The reason tires are so important now is this upcoming trip..........https://www.utahsba.com/schools/START/ wanna come?

Don't forget to check out CycleGear (either one - Pecos or Decatur). If pressed for time, I've had fair prices with tires already in stock. I love their "Moto-Guard"... Basically, if you pick up a nail riding out of their parking lot, they replace it for free (well, the $20+ you paid for Moto-Guard).

If you're not pressed for time, SW is hard to beat for prices.

Back on topic... Glad you had a good experience with Rancho. I went there years ago before they were RideNow and they were adequate. Sorry to hear they are a RideNow shop. I won't spend a dime in ANY of the RideNow shops. Way too many BAD experiences on the tech side. On the sales side, believe it or not, one my most pleasant and smoothest purchases was done at the RideNow on Boulder. Weird.
