I only got a few shots, but shot a lot of Vid. The first two vids are unedited, straight uploads. just to get a post on as the editing takes time. Check back over the next few days and I'll post up. more.

AR 123 was Prob the most technical of all the roads the first part was a series of 90degree switch-backs. Its pretty hard to turn on the camera, during those  Our tour guide(cough cough), would not slow down long enough to snap a pic or set the camera, so I had to fiddle on the fly with the gloves.

Most all of the roads were good. There was not a lot of tight stuff (with the exception of this one road). Most was high speed sweepers. I think our average on Friday was 85 mph B)

I acutally thought I was turning on the vid camera but had it set to still shot

The ride leader is absent from this pic, cause he would not slow down (cough cough)

I have this listed as 123, but, I think I am wrong. ( actually I am prob wrong on most locals, as I had no Idea where I was) You can hear the motor clearly in the vids. Most of the time it was in 4th ot 5th gear

It was nice to meet you Fencer..........cool shots.

I remember that mail box in the first photo..................just the right height to make you think twice about getting too close to the inside line.

Is it just me because I am one of the old guys, or do some people seem to feel that they have the right to speed. I would guess that the speed limit on those roads was 55 or 60 and to avg. 85 the speed had to be considerable higher. Are the laws just made for other people, and we ask why cage drivers get irritated with us sometimes. I feel that we should obey all laws not just the ones that we feel like . Silly me.

I am sure I will catch a lot of flak on this one so let the whipping begin.

Just so you know that I also get a kick out of speed, I was a corporate pilot for some years and loved to go at that speed but it was all legal.

just my .02

Yes. It's just you because your old.

You never use your work computer for anything other than work? You never go even 1 mph over a posted limit? You always close the cover before striking? You never remove tags under penalty of law? Or are you talking The Law (as defined in the Pentateuch)?

Very nice and thanks. I was wondering when you would put the ride videos to music.

Btw, seen Collective Soul twice now. They put on a really good show. Both times were in small venues. We could get really close to the stage.

Nice vids fencer, you guys were getting it pretty good in vid #2.

The road surface in #3 looks pretty ******.Thanks for sharing the vids.

Fencer,

Thanks for the vids and pics. My slacker friends who decided it was too far to make the trip will be so jealous. Enjoyed riding with you. Did you get any footage of the bird explosion?

I've been so busy I haven't checked yet.

Any chance I could talk you into burning some of those good vids onto a disc for me?

PM for a snail mail address.
