Many of you attendees have asked me over the years "What can I do to help?" Usually my response is "Nothing, it's all taken care of, go have a good time!" I have taken pride in not needing too much help putting this puppy on for you guys. It really is not a difficult thing to plan and produce and I start early enough to stretch out the "burden" if you will.

This year things are a bit different for me. I now have a freelance job at JCPenney that is a day shift and unfortunately, they don't allow access to Gmail. So I have to do all emailing from my iphone and I need to be on it as little as possible for obvious reasons. This is a dramatic change from the previous job, which was second shift with very little workflow. I had tons of time to surf and email, which is how I brought in so many prizes last year. So I'm asking for volunteers to form a SFO Prize Patrol and work together to get the rally some great freebies to give away. I have a bunch of email addresses that cover a lot of the corporate vendors that we love so much that I can give you to get started. Please let me know publically or privately if you can help out.

Also, as we do every year, if you'd like to hit up your local dealer for some goodies to bring, please do and contact me for the sponsorship details. I'll take care of any shipping costs incurred too.

Thank you!

OK, Michelle

Tell me if I qualify...I'm, by nature, a pushy SOB who can't take no for an answer...

I'm retired and my time is my own and I sit in front of my computer and phone hours a day...

I'm yours, just tell me what ya want me to do...

and I'm a pushover for nice women who ride fast motorcycles; really, just ask my wife who rides with me :yahoo:

I don't think that harley parts will fit on fjr's but I'll sure ask them dudes if they can help out. Maybe I can get some assless chaps out of them...er sumpin....

I am willing to help, just let me know what you need. Assless chaps r us is right by my house, but it looks like Odot has that covered, so PM me and let me know what else I can do.

Thanks guys, I'll try to get my info together over the weekend for the commercial vendors. I have a pretty full schedule though this weekend, so it may not happen. I'd love to see at least 2 more people volunteer to help with that part of it, the emailing or calling of the vendors. I emailed last year and got over a 50% reply rate. I'm thinking that 4 people would keep it down to about 5 or so companies to contact each.

I'd also like some help canvassing the dealerships here in DFW. I will handle Burleson and Stadium but there are plenty of others around here. Bill, if you could talk to Houston Motorsports and see if they'll do the helmets again, that would be awesome!

Please say so if you can help! Thank you to Paul, Mike and Bill for steppin up and I will be in touch soon with details on how to approach this.

I was in Motion Powersports (Dallas) this weekend. I'll be going back to pick up a part next Saturday. I'm pretty tight with the sales manager. Let me know what I need to ask for. PM me or call if need be.

Or hows bout some of them gay fingerless gloves that we end up giving all them to you anyway?

Seriously Michelle. If you want me to hit up some of the ones you have on your list I'd be glad to.

Other than my local Yamaha shops I'll try the local Cycle Gear too.

if your still looking for help i'm your man. my wife says im relentless at stuff like this. im disabled and spend a lot of time on the phone/cpu anyway. better this than porn sites. i have to keep away from them any way i keep seeing people on them from here (don't worry odot and busta i won't tell). e-mail is joshuaz2 hotmail:com

Thanks for the offer Roy, I appreciate it. Right now I've got 3 cooks in the kitchen and 1 on stand by so I think we're covered. If something comes up, I will check in with you. Please feel free to hit up any of your local companies and dealers. Tell them about the rally, mention or show them the website and then ask if they wanna be a sponsor. I put their logo on our site with link to their site in return. We say all kinds of good things about them in exchange for a donation to give away at the banquet. Lemme know what ya get and we'll figure out if shipping it to Eureka is necessary.

Forward me the logo and that's about it!
