wow...I guess I'll take this opportunity to remind folks that SFO is not open to the general public. It is a private event held for members in good standing of the FJRForum. That is why I require a forum screen name to register and this has been the policy since the fiasco after the first SFO. Attendees are welcome to bring family members or a guest (like your best friend that you ride with all the time) but do to planning necessities, let's please not invite someone you can't vouch for. I need to be able to give the hotel hard numbers for head counts for the meals and reservations. They have given us this discount on the rooms, not the general public.
GB - if you want to add this person as your guest, that would absolutely be fine. He should really decide if he's coming for sure or not before you do. Once the meals prices are finalized, you'll have to advise him of the costs and how to pay. Please be aware that non-forum guests are not eligible for the prizes that are given away.
If anyone has any questions, please PM me.
Now back to the fun stuff!! B)
yes, things have progressed since you last made it to SFO and its not informal by any means now. but i wouldn't say there are bylaws involved! check your PMs and by all means, as previously stated, just reregister him as your guest and your good to go!wow...
Didn't see this coming...
I guess i need the Official Rules and Bylaws for this event. I was under the impression that "SFO" was somewhat informal and open to others.
I will withdraw the invite to them.
Sorry.
