Ok I have not seen much action here about the SFO so I'll start up. The organizers do so well at door prizes, eating arrangements, hotel reservations and everything else, thank goodness! The only contribution I can make is to participate and offer to lead a ride. I will come up on Thursday, ride Friday and Saturday. There is so much good riding in Arkansas two days is not enough but it will have to do.

I just got back from a HSTA ride in Theodosia, MO. what a blast. I am willing to take a group from Russelville up 27 catch 341 then 5 into Misssouri, 160 over to 125 south, take the ferry over pick up 14, 123, 16 maybe 21 and be back in Russelville by 5:00 or so for dinner. Then maybe do it in reverse the next day. This is about 350 - 400 miles +/- .

We will need to head out fairly early, I'd say by 7:30 or 8:00 at the latest.

This would be a "not mess around much stay on the gas" ride and is all in the twisties. Woo hoo!

Whos up!

Whoa that ride sounds awesome Scott! Ok, I'm gonna bug my boss again today and see if he'll let me off so i can make it. This is killing me!!

Hey Scott - I found this on another website:

Heads up on 125 in Missouri... they began an extensive chipseal project the last weekend in August. We ran into it about 2 days after it started and the loose gravel was an inch deep in spots.

U may wanna confirm that this road is ok.

Have fun Guys!

I am still not sure i can make it yet. If i do, It will probably be a day trip... :(

Adam

Everyone remember to bring their maps of AR and a good highlighter. Ya never know when you might need them.

Yeah I was up there a few weeks ago, it wasnt too bad at that time. Will be sure and keep a head up for it.

Is this years Fall ride going to be down a bit in attendance? Its kind of strange not seeing others post up about what we actually get together for "RIDING"

Scott,

Frances and I are leaving on Thursday. When are you leaving? Let me know and we may go when you do.

I am planning on leaving Thursday as well, would be glad to hook up with you and Frances. I thought you would probably trailer up since you were bringing xtra goodies.

Let me know where you would like to meet and I will be there. Any chance of getting the Peek bros to go with us?

Last year they were sealing some of those roads (125 for sure) the second week in Oct. Ride safe. Ron

This Fall looks to be about as well attended as last Fall. People's schedules being what they are, it's natural for there to be an ebb and flow when hosting multiple events in a year.
