Shad Topcase

I bought a top case from these guys a year and a half ago and the mounting braket broke.

Are they still in business? and does anyone know were I can find another braket?

I called the number in the link to Cosmopitan Motors but itseemed to go to some guys cell phone voice mail.

Please post here if/when you contact them. I have the same mount and year bike as you. No damage but if it happens...

I believe SW-MOTECH has an adapter plate for the shad box. It would be worth a call in your case..

Thanks, I ended up welding my braket together.

I finally got a hold of some guy name Larry. He didn't seem to sharp. He promised to get back to me with a price but never did.

Where/how did the bracket break ? Did the case fall off ? I have the same (not broken). Just worry if safe to let the wife use the case as a back rest.

The case did not fall off and it is safe to use.

My girlfriend likes to pack alot of junk in the trunk and the metal bracket broke because of abuse. It broke pretty much in the middle.
