In the last few weeks I've made major strides in the ergonomic comfort of my '05. Reshaped and added gel to the seat, heli-risers, hand guards and a rifle sport have just made a good bike better too me. So I'm even more in love with it.

At the same time I've been seeing a fine Irish Lass, who's been talking Harley too me when Bike conversations come up.

I Finally got her cute butt on the back of my bike Saturday for a moonlight cruise and some twisty sections of road. When we wheel in the garage she looks at the bike and says "I like this Bike, It's very unique". She was quite amazed that I could load the 12 pack and her Jumbo purse in 1 bag, not too mention the stealthiness of the bike.

I was glad cause the FJR wasn't going anywhere and I like Irish gal's.

Earlier this year, Mrs. BG and I took my old Harley (Dyna Wide Glide) to Erie, PA, and back for a long weekend. After an agonizing ride home, the Missus hopped off the Harley, ran to the FJR and hugged the Russel Day Long on it. That trip on the FJR woulda been nothing, but on that Harley...

And +1 to the FJR's beer stowage capacity! I had quite the conversation about that with (IIRC) Hellcreep at SFO.

I have given that Russell Day Long seat two-buns-up since the day I first sat on it. So true, that trip to Erie would have been nothing on the FJR but it was rough riding on that Harley seat.

Being Happily single for about 8 years now, I can attest to the Babe Magnetism of this bike. It's awesome! I've been in love with the Smuggler since forever

and I want one real bad but, I won't buy one cause I run into ladies all the time who look at the bike and say: That's a great looking bike, can I have a ride!

Not wanting to say: Uhhh...... You can't cause I'm in a single rider mode. I'd rather do without the Smuggler than say no to some very nice ladies!!!

A man has to set his priorities!!!! :clapping:

I met one of those fine Irish lassies when I was in college and only had a motrcycle (Suzuki GS550) for transportation. 25 years and 3 kids later, she's still willing to hop on and go for a ride....
