I've got about 3,000 miles on the Verge 2X on the rear and about 3,800 on the front. No abnormal wear pattern so far (running 39 PSI front, 42 rear). No complaints about the grip - mostly have run in the dry w/ limited riding in the rain so far.

I've used Shinko Ravens in the past on GL1800, ST1300 and on the '07 FJR that I previously had and again no complaints.

Ordered the rear Verge 2X from www.pdi-racing.com - they had the best price. Got the front from a local dealer.

I almost bought a front a few weeks ago but scored a dunlop roadsmart for the same price as the shinko on ebay.

nothing on the Shinko 016 Verge 2x however I did find some posts on the Verge. I get the impression Ignacio would rank the Michelin road pilot 2,3 & 4 as all the same since they are all Michelin road pilot tires!

Shinko Verge 2x review, stick with it you will see the special FJR relevance.

Put one on a Concours 14 and it seemed fine, but didn't get many miles on it before I sold the bike.

Just checked pricing on a pair 4 the 04 since I am changing the front rim...... $220 for the pair at bike bandit, less another 10% from a coupon. Just put 777HDs on the RSV and have put about a dozen Shinko's on other smaller bikes.

seems like it, but your title even said verge 2x.
