Been wanting a FJR1300 for years but never worked out. My wife and I were just rear ended and she received neck and back injuries as the driver. I as the passenger received a compound fracture of the left tibia and ankle. It will be life long pain for my wife to deal with. It will take four to six months for my leg to heal. I received an L shape bracket and eight stainless steel screws to be permanent in my leg. We are seeing an attorney this Monday because we were told in Texas the state has set settlement amounts for each claim. So after I heal up I hope to get my dream bike FJR if able.

Hmmmm. How to reply to THIS one? Sorry about your accident. Nice you won't have to worry about how to spend the settlement, I guess. And if there's a set settlement amount, how come you need to give part of it to an attorney? Anyway, good luck.

Well from what I've been told the insurance companies try everything they can to not pay the settlement amount until there confronted by the injured parties attorney and the possibility of going before the judge.

I read what the OP wrote and the only thing I could think of was...

It will be life long pain for me to deal with my wife.

I'm with ya pickledik... My wife corralled me 142 years ago April 84. When the *** is lightning gonna smack me *** and end this misery?
Listen prick...

It was April of 83 which seems more like 280 century's ago. And, why wait for lightning? I'll give ya an extension cord to plug in with the opposite end "conveniently" cut off so you can shove it up your arse. :angry2:

See what I mean?? The old bat ain't got a clue it's only been 10 decades..................... Dog help me..
