It's a Gen II thing. I hit top speed on my Gen I a while back and the paint peeled off, we were going so fast. Then the black dye came off my leather jacket and left a black puddle in the road. Then the chrome came off my pipes. Gosh, what a fast bike I have.

Had the same experiance with my 03, left a long drawn picture of the bike with me riding it on the road.

Friday is maintenance in the Oliver garage...I checked my bike this morning

Geez, the previous owner fiberglassed them in permanently

I'm betting this is what happened. I had those visors off when I was giving the bike a once-over right after I got it. I rode another 110 miles today and the epoxied visor stayed in place just fine...although I didn't subject it to the same stresses this time.

Replacement for my 06 was $65

I hear that's about right, price-wise, for an '06.

Put Brodie's Spider Fix on it and it'll be worth $75.
