I saw an '05 with bags, 2 up in Johnson City, about 5:00pm. I was on the blue bagless '03, and waved as I crossed Roan, if you saw me.

Was it anyone here?

I passed a strange blue color FJR w/ no bags exiting I-26 in Johnson City, TN yesterday afternoon.
Slapnpop was that you? I was riding the blue FJR passing you and headed north to the State of Franklin exit. I was returning home from Margaritagrille at Lake Lure just SE of Asheville.

I plan to post a ride report as soon as I get time to figure out which roads we took, reduce some piccies & upload them to photobucket.
Yep, that could possibly be me...if you're talking abt last Saturday pm. I posted the above note that same day in another thread in FJR-Specific Discussions.

If the rider you saw was 2-up, then somebody climbed aboard that I didn't know about...I always ride solo...wife unit is motorcycle riding challenged. Or, I've seen one other '05, 2-up, in JoCy recently...could have been another rider. I thought you and I were the only FJR pilots in town.

Anyhoo, HOWDY!

No, it was today (9-7-05)

I don't know why I wrote yesterday.

It was definatly 2 up, turning off of eastbound University Prkwy onto South Roan

Sorry, not me...I didn't ride today.

Will pack tomorrow for another overnite trip to Floyd, VA departing Friday w/ the usual dog's breakfast of bikes.

P.S. I'm always looking for you around town...FJR sightings are rare.

P.S.2. Actually, I wrote "yesterday," not you. But, I wrote the quoted note last Sunday, "yesterday" meaning "last Saturday"...Now I'm confused.

I just read that quote, and it indeed would have been me. I'm not sure what exit or when, but I definatly would be the strange blue bagless, and I wear a Rossi replica helmet that's really brightly colored and unusual.

The bike I saw was heading north, last Saturday pm, w/ another sport bike behind, exiting on Roan Street.

When I noticed the "odd" blue color, I knew it was probably you. I waved but you were into the 270 turn and may not have seen me pass by.
