Skooterg Has an Audio Blog for the 2009 IBR

I felt unusually compassionate for my floppy eared friend and setup a blog for him with audioblog capabilities a few days ago. Take a look here. Why he didn't get this setup weeks ago is a mystery...other than maybe because he started a new job recently. (I'll avoid editorializing on this subject )

And, FYI he just arrived safe and sound in Bonne Terre an hour ago and now snoozing away as we speak. He wimpers now and again like a puppy sleeping, but I'm sure his dreams aren't about chasing cars.....but about rolling on the throttle out of a corner leaned over scraping pegs at FJR nominal speeds.

General plan is for him to nap, service our bikes at Smitty141's, get a good night's sleep, head out early in the morning to do The Dragon and other interesting points, and either get into Spartanburg late Thursday....or get a hotel for the night and get in early Friday.

The call of the IBR and migration instinct is become stronger and stronger....as evidenced by the migration of SPOT dots here to Spartanburg, SC. MCW (me), JW, and ME are forum members.

Iggy, guess I should be saying thank you. But in my unique position of just living a few miles from this dork and riding with him on a regular basis: Do I really need to hear any more of Skooty's never ending blather? My God, Ignacio, this cretin can talk the ears off of an entire herd of basset hounds! I'll leave my living room for the kitchen when we are watching a Diamondbacks game on the TV and he will be talking; when I return he is still talking, and it's just us two in the damn house!

My theory is that if we all tell him this audio blog is a really cool thing and provide positive reinforcement....he'll spend more time talking to IT than calling US on the phone. We then have THE OPTION to listen or not.

...and if that doesn't work....the service is on top of my audio blog. I could pull the plug on him at any time. h34r:

Dreams before the IBR? Now, now, you know full well those are nothing compared the dreams after the IBR. Those will last for weeks.

Thanks for the update Iggy, not so sure about Skoot's audio blog, but I bet it sounds really cool with the mute on.

You have to look carefully Eric. Ignacio is situated uncomfortably underneath SkooterG. Guess we got this whole cow/bull thing figured out in this case.

Actually, we're both in the middle of a man-made lake that was created from

. He's doing the backstroke making motorboat sounds and I'm sipping mai tais on an air mattress about 150 feet away. It's great the SPOT units are waterproof.
