Going to be picking up my 07 soon, and I want to put sliders on the bike as my first farkle. Been reading a lot about it, and I am convinced that is a good start. I have been searching to try to find out which brand I could use that doesn't require puting a hole in the fairing. This has probably been gone over before, but I couldn't find it. Not too good with computers.

Thanks,

Greg

Try the search feature and use these terms....

+2006 +sliders +skyway

Many of us have the Skyway sliders and they are very well made. He makes many other nice farkles for the 06-07.

Skyway is one of our members and makes nice farkles for us. His stuff is listed under his signature. Otherwise go to the top of the forum page over to the right.....

dont mind some of the folks on this site. "Search for it" is a response to every freaking post...I will try to be a bit more helpful.

Well, I hope you were kidding, as least a little......

As a new user of this and other boards, I found it very useful to receive assistance rather than a canned answer.

1) It gave me more freedom to find things on my own and ask fewer questions that had already been answered.

2) This thread is a perfect example of where dozens of answers could be posted and if the users doesn't learn to search, could end up with a smaller set of options.

Please don't leave others with the impression that a "search here" response is not designed to be helpful.

The ultimate post with TONS of controversy. I know, I started it https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?s...=totaled+slider

FWIW, I'm not a fan of aluminum sliders and would strongly reco Delrin for reasons that are fully explored in this thread and a couple of others. There are a number of people who make them.
