Absolutely great call, Barry! :clapping:
I'm enjoying every bike he buys and modifies. It's a vicarious life but it's a full one.
Please put me on this list. I have to agree in the fullest green of envy.

the guy has had enough FJR's to decide if it's the bike for him

.....WTF? , unless you're buying Smitty's bike why the hell is it any of your business what he's riding. Mind your own F'ing bvsiness.

Full Disclosure:

I just picked up a slice-n-dice farkle from smitty that he made available to me before public notification. ...so I might be a bit biased. I'm glad he sold that bike.

thanks Smitty --I owe ya one. And if you ever want a FJR to ride, The battle born bike is available to you.

How may wives has Smitty had?

The warmth and desire of true love followed by icy indifference.

Changing your mind about what bike you want is a lot cheaper! Still, I could never afford his habit!

Gruss Gott, BeemerDonS
thought I translate the gay German (especially gay is "Sie werden warm gegruesst" :dribble: ) must have been a google translate Beemerdons?

Willkommen Smitty! Juli.

Herzliche Gruesse

:yahoo:
I'm so rusty with my German Alfredo, I had to cobble my text together from Lonely Planet Phrasebook, 2nd Edition. When I lived in Bavaria, all conversations ended with Gruss Gott - God's Blessing. Is that no longer the case? (I also noticed I used meinen instead of mein, big OOPS!) I should have had petey from Oklahoma proofread this by private message before sending it!

HIJACK: Did you see the Gen1 FJR for sale here in Arizona? I will be right back with the link, since your purchase of the BMW K1100LT fell through! https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?showtopic=130392

Check this FJR out, if you are still interested in keeping a bike here in the American Southwest! I actually saw this on Tuesday and called SkooterG immediately as a replacement for his damaged "Dirty Old Whore", but two days have passed and he has not moved on this. However, I leave for Oregon and the BMW Rally this Monday 7/12; would have to check this FJR out for you before I depart.
Thanks for the link beemerdon, I am still looking for a K1100LT with low miles either here or in the US, there is just something I like about that 4 cyl brick...have fun at the beemer rally, I was a member of BMWMOA for a long time but never made it to a rally.

Ride safe

https://www.bmwmoa.org/flea/index.php?catid...e&showall=1 Guten Tag Alfredo, Usually at the North American BMW Rallies you will see many bikes for sale. BMW owners that plan on moving up to a new machine will bring their old bikes for sale to the International Rallies such as Redmond, Oregon.

Does it have to specifically be the K1100LT model? The reason I ask is that there are some cherry four cylinder K100 machines currently for sale by BMW MOA Members on the Owners Flea Market.

No matter, when I am walking around the DesChutes County Fairgrounds, I will keep my eyes peeled for any brick bikes for sale. I still want to have a K75 three banger in my collection, some day!
