I'm nerdly enough to correct you, Tom. :nerd:
Your '04 is technically Cerulean BLUE.
The only "silver" ones (so far) are the '03's and '10's.
Wasn't the '07 AE silver?

YOU are right Heidi...and Fred is wrong. Sorry Fred. You are nerdly enough to make a mistake while thinking you know the right answer. The 04 color is Cereulean "Silver" if memory serves... & sometimes it doesn't.I'm nerdly enough to correct you, Tom. :nerd:

Damn, I thought for sure that Yamaha had called Cerulean blue, because I remembered it being so odd that a silver bike was called blue.YOU are right Heidi...and Fred is wrong. Sorry Fred. You are nerdly enough to make a mistake while thinking you know the right answer.
It is indeed Cerulean Silver by name, but when you mix the paint it has a fairly high percentage of blue content. ColorRite calls the paint Bluish Silver #4.Damn, I thought for sure that Yamaha had called Cerulean blue, because I remembered it being so odd that a silver bike was called blue.YOU are right Heidi...and Fred is wrong. Oh well, there has to be a first time for everything!
Welcome, Glen.Good Day,
New NERD for the forum. Sounds like this will be an interesting place. Lots of great information. Do not know if I can make the NERDS Meet and Greet this August, but I have added it to my list. I rode a lot of roads in VT when I was a stromtrooper.

Welcome, Glen.
Even if you can't make the NERDS event in August, keep an eye on the Northeast Ride Planning section (some of us even subscribe for e-mail notifications) for other upcoming rides and happenings. And there's always the biggest annual event in the East: EOM
PS - Many on the forum keep both a 'strom and Feejer in the stable. Interestingly, the Northeast contingent of the Stromtroopers are having a campout in WRJ, Vermont the same weekend as NERDS. We may pass them (going the other direction) on some of the gaps!
Damn!! That blows. Good on ya for wearing all the gear and coming out of that still riding (and walking).I had that on my to do list for this year. Well my strom (reference https://www.stromtroo...-gone-awry.html) won't be there. What you really can't see in the picture is the rear rim is broken and shaped like an open C.
I don't think any of those are CBA-approved.At this point in time I can't tell if I'm riding an FJR, a DL650, a 91 FLHTCU or a Grey Hound bus..
I can't wait to blip the HD throttle, in order save Lives, at the quiet-meek-FJR event... :lol:I don't think any of those are CBA-approved.At this point in time I can't tell if I'm riding an FJR, a DL650, a 91 FLHTCU or a Grey Hound bus..
I think this is, though.
You do realize that'll wake up the Cdns's right?I can't wait to blip the HD throttle, in order save Lives, at the quiet-meek-FJR event...
