Missed the Lake Hughes ride today with Martin and company so I am really in need of a good ride and escape. Sign me up for a will be attending. Any of the San Diego guys riding up have a meeting spot down here yet? Let me know, if not, I'll see you all at the usuall place in Temecula off the 79.

Is there an updated list of attendees. For various reasons, several have apparently had to back out.
Don, has Skooter confirmed yet or was his permission slip denied. Are we the only Zonies making this ride?
Big-D: Si Compadre, es para dos Amigos; Yo y Tu! I just heard the most amazing news from unidentified Limey source: Mi Hijo *******o es con Trabajo! Es Imposible!

He got a job? Is it s real job or is he getting picked up on the corner in a pick up truck?

Hey Neil,

After we all meet up at the Temecula spot, I recommend heading down 79 and turning left on Anza Rd where there are some landscaped yards in full bloom right now (for viewing pleasure) and then right on Rancho Calif to the winery. Just a thought.

This is probably the route you are taking anyway, since we will have to head back this way to get to Pachanga Pkwy, to 76, to Palomar Mt.

Correct?

So what you really mean is that Skooter got a job and now he'll call in sick on his second day of work so he'll get fired so he can make the winery ride with us!

Actually Dan, just got off of the phone with Mr. Marbach. He may ride over with us and spend Saturday night at Richard's; then ride home Sunday: M-F/9-5 Skooty job.

Hey Ed,

That sounds good to me.

The plan at the moment is to meet at the usual Shell station and head to Doffo Winery as one big group. After we get our fill of Ducatis, we can split up into three groups. Maybe you can lead our "rolling thunder" to Doffo.

The route I had picked out (Mesa Grande, Palomar Mountain) turned out to be only 125 miles after Richard put it into his Garmin software. WTF?! I'm thinking of adding a loop through Borrego Springs. Otherwise we may all have to get CBA memberships before we can set sail. Guess I need to do this quickly so folks have time to react.

I need to get my act together and get all the final details taken care of and posted...

I'm assuming all our Zonie friends have everything they need for this trip (places to stay, meals, sheep...)? Give me a holler if you need anything or anything I can do fo ya'll.

(i'm regretting this post already...soup sandwich order up! losing control in three...two...one... :D )

If we get added routes or details, we'll need time for Richard to edit his GPS coordinates and re-send them so us folks that seldom (if ever) look at a map can upload these changes into our GPS'.

Thanks for the inquiry, Neil! Dan and I are all set, we are staying at johnny80s house in Fallbrook on Saturday night. johnny80s has set up a Los Robustos M/C Club pasta/pizza eating and vino "**** Red" drinking contest for us; with grappa "barbed wire" shooters! SkooterG misses FJRBluesman; so I anticipate he will be there!

If Skooty rides over, he'll be staying at Richard and Karen's house on Saturday night; GSJane just may make this ride. Once again, poor Bluesy is left out in the cold!

Neil, just sent text above to johnny80s; there'll probably be a fresh picture of FJRBluesman and SkooterG up here very soon. Compliments of our FJR Italian Stallion!!

Before things get too out of hand here, I just thought I'd let you guys know I'm out on business travel to CT and won't make this ride. Have fun and post some pics so I can enjoy from here!

Dan, over the next few years, you're going to fully realize that you're never, ever going to change your Old Papa Chuy! Not only do I view any GPS devices as the work of El Diablo. I also never, ever look at weather forecasts. Brian and Melanie Boles, Papa Chuy and Chuck Doucet left for Puerto Vallarta in a hurricane forecast!
