https://weather.aol.com/forecast/todays//usa/arizona/chandler/id/usaz0034;jsessionid=3E0BAFB848A71E936E20CF87BB2B807E WEATHER ALERT, DANGER: I regret to inform you Zonie riders that our local Phoenix conditions have turned for the worse! It is only going to be 78F degrees here today in Maricopa County, Arizona for our ride to Sofia's for lunch in Gila Bend, not the previously forecasted high of 80F degrees!

Even worse yet, it dropped to a 44F low, and it was only supposed to go down to 45F. So buck up my hardy riders, put on your extra riding gear and we will fight these disastrous riding conditions as best we can. Try not to freeze and see you at 10:30! When the going gets tough, the FJR tough get going. Ride to Eat, Eat to Ride!

Oorah!

Ahhhem!!..

Oh I may have to break out the jacket liner today then! Unfortunately, I won't be riding to Gila Bend with the unemployed retired members here, but I am riding to Tempe to go to work...

Global warming. Screwing everything up.

But that wind chill: Few weeks ago it was 100o here. Then the wind started blowing. Hundred miles an hour.

Man, I almost froze to death!....

Just an update from 2 days ago, here in the south, warm end of Minnesota. Monday, the high here was zero, yesterday (Tuesday) morning, -23 F. Walked into work again (20 minutes)....by the time I got there, one testicle was the size of a hayseed, and the other one was a little fella.

See what ya started, Joe?

Bustanut joker and BikerGeek99, You two had it easy yesterday: All you two had to do is shovel snow and ice off of your driveway, add more logs to the fire and try to get your cars started. I had to spend all day yesterday riding Ingrid my BMW (background) in the Arizona desert with this royal ******* on his new BMW R1200 GS!

That can't be SkooterB's...it's got BOTH cylinders still on the bike. Fact is, I don't even see a scrape mark on the sides. :clapping:

Most of my day has been in the snow.
Déjà vu !

I spent my entire day fighting the snow. I'm not exaggerating even a little. It all started when I rolled out of bed this morning and had to go out and compact the snow in the dog's area. If the snow gets too deep, she starts looking for new places to relieve herself.

Snow-blow the driveway and sidewalks.

Shovel some snow off the roof to alleviate a minor ice dam that was forming.

Compact a path for our old dog to walk so she can visit with the neighbor's dogs and look through the fence to the front yard.

Compact a path for the mailman.

Construct a sort of tent over the back steps and heat the enclosure to melt the ice off the cedar planks.

Cleared the snow off the vehicles and did some last minute shopping.

I'm ready! The kids will all be here for Christmas (happy pagan holiday) and no one will slip and crack their skull open.

Global Warming global schwarming.
