Dropped during a front end wheel clip by a car driver hitting me.

It's of no interest to fix it for me right now.

The fork tubes are bent but possibly fixable or new for $1,000.

The front wheel is toast, replace for $400-500.

Here is the link with start up and walk around.

If I hadn't already picked up a winter project this would be a good boredom-beater! Hope she goes to a good home... good luck with the sale!

If it weren't for being so far away I think I would own this baby. I am sure someone will jump on this soon.

Good luck,

Dave

It would be worth a lot more parting it out. The only downside to that is finding a buyer for the AE engine/transmission.

Was it totaled by your insurance? I suspect it was.

But if the title has not been modified to "Salvaged" it is a much more enticing project.

Do you have any more details you can share on this? And I am curious as to whats under the towel, just being nosy? I am mildly interested.

That's the NOS system, This thing halls arse !

Patent pending,

I haven't made a lift to suspend the front mid air. So being the red neck engineer I am, it's on the center stand with a sack of dry concrete as counter weight.

I sell projects for what I'd be willing to pay, and I'm cheap at what I'm willing to pay. The insurance pay off is fine. I personally know that getting into this one further is above my pay and training. Could be an easy gold mine or it could be a great parts bike. I don't have the time ( and the wife doesn't have the patience ) to find out.

IF someone was inclined to be super meticulous, striping the bike of plastics and getting the frame"checked" for any further tweaks would be the only other step to take. But as I've researched, I summarize that all bikes have a possibility of being just a little bit tweaked stock. That's it, Forums honor. All my visual inspection looks fine from the triple tree on back.

Edit: just talked w insurance. It will hold a salvage title. What that means varies by state. Do your research.

I have always wondered how someone ends up with a bike like this. I don't intend to buy, mostly just curious. If it was insured why not take the check from the insurance company and let them haul it away. If you kept the bike that means you bought it back from them for a small price, but why buy it back if all you want to do it sell it? Seems like a really good deal for someone but seems like you are going to lose in the deal. I know its none of my business so you can ignore if you want, just curious.
