Purchased 11/25/16 in Denver, CO. In excellent condition. Has never been involved in any kind of accident or tip-over. Will have approximately 5,000 miles on the clock when you take delivery in Laredo, TX (or more if we agree on another location). Comes with aftermarket radiator guard, hydration system, passenger footboards, Givi rack and top case, OEM Yamaha cover (never used) and RAM GPS mount. If I can find them, I'll throw in highway pegs (never installed). Clear Colorado title.

I love this bike, but my wife and I have moved to central Mexico, and the FJR is utterly wrong for this environment. The roads here demand something smaller, lighter and more dual-sporty. So it's time for a change.

The bike sat out for the first ten or so nights here, but was garaged in Colorado, and has been garaged here since the first of October.

I will surely miss it, but not the struggle of wrestling it over "cobblestones."
So what's next? Maybe a KTM 1290 Super adventure, or a Beemer perhaps?

I rode something like 15 miles of cobblestone at night and in the rain on knobby tires on a DRZ400 with only a tiny little headlight on the way up to Real de Catorce. I would have preferred more lighting and a bigger contact patch for sure!!

Good luck with the sale

Thanks, Russ. I'm thinking maybe a V-Strom 650 would suffice, or an F 700 GS, or Tiger 800 XRx. I want something that can do occasional two-up duty; factory hard bags would be really nice. And I'm so addicted to cruise control, with my carpal tunnel... but OTOH, I want something smaller and lighter. I don't have the inseam for a lot of bikes that might otherwise be contenders (e.g., KLR). Will be interesting to start visiting local dealers after the Feejer sells.

Did I mention that the bike has FOBO TPMS installed? It does, with the metal T-stems for quick and easy pressure adjustments. The system is really slick.

Dual sport, I would love to trade my wife's 2012 V-strom DL-1000 and cash for this FJR.

She bought it brand new in 2013 and put 1200 miles on it; then decided not to ride anymore. Garaged kept the entire time.

I will be back in Texas this week. I will pm you.
