HELLO fellow FJR enthusiasts!
Sorry to say, but I am selling my beloved 2016 Yamaha FJR as my LD riding days are behind me. I have owned this motorcycle since new and put all of the 60,300 miles on her. Never wreaked, raced or abused and I have averaged over 46mpg consistently. The oil and filter have been changed every 4-5K miles and usually using Shell T6 5W40. Valve checks done twice and spark plugs changed twice as well, most recently when it went in for the 2nd gear recall. New EBC brake pads (second set) front and rear within the last 5K miles. Also front and rear suspension systems have been refreshed within the last 5K miles. Tires are Bridgestone T31GT's with front about 50% tread left and rear about 75%.
Additional upgrades and add-ons as follows:
GP suspension front fork upgrades including new springs, valving, etc. Works awesome!
Ohlins YA 707 rear shock with remote preload and dampening adjustments.
Canyon cages front with auxiliary led lights and dimmer control. Rear unit included, but not installed.
MCL front fork bridge with ram mount and prewired cradle for Garmin 590 (GPS unit NOT included)
Pazzo adjustable brake and clutch levers (they are awesome)
Relay arm has the grease zerk mod done
Cox radiator guard and front fender extender
Fuse block, rear auxiliary brake light, heated gear plug and battery tender plug and tender included.
Yamaha touring shield (factory shield also included)
Factory service manual and a Dowco full motorcycle cover also included.
Probably forgot a couple of things but this has been the BEST motorcycle I have ever owned, bar none. I had a perfectly good 2013 before this, but when the 2016 came out with some great upgrades (6 speed, slipper clutch, led lights) and also was COBALT BLUE I knew I had to have one!
Located about 20 minutes from the Grand Rapids, Mi. airport (GRR) I am open to pick up for a fly and ride.
Asking price of $8,000.00 and I am not interested in any trades as I also own a 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 which will become my primary ride now! Leave a PM here with questions or if additional pics are needed. Again, thanks for looking!
