Folks I just sold my V-Strom! :yahoo: And I'm going to buy an '08 FJR. Anything I should know when I go to the dealer other than getting the OTD price down?

Thanks

Scott

When you get it home over the bolts on the bike. List of Torque values are in the BOF. I found the front pinch bolts a couple of pounds light and the head nut loose. Aside from that all was well. Just a good thing to know they are what they are supposed to be.

She has a vibe with the stock bar ends around 80 and this bike LOVES to cruise there, well actually at 90 and even sometimes 100. But I digress. Got my barend and sliders from motivation.com. Had them to the door in 3 days.

Enjoy your ride. This bike is truly awesome in stock form.

Pick up a filter and change of oil when you get your bike. Likely, you will want to change it before you can get it back into the shop for the first check-up.

Not sure where you are in the world, but D&H in AL has the best deals on new OTD FJR's.

Talk to Jerrold to see if they have any left on the show room floor.

Check and see if the bag liners are there, if not come back here and we'll dogplie the hell out of the dealer.

God, I hope somebody gets a laugh out of this........ :blushsmiley:
