SOLD!!!

What I have here is a brand spankin' new (with tags) Cortech GX Air Series 2 mesh jackets, in the popular bright yellow color, andin Mens' size XL.

Sales puffery from the Cortech web site says this jacket's features are:

GX Air Series 2 Jacket

• Performance cut, Armor-Link III mesh shell with washable Brazilian leather elbow, shoulder and back impact panels

• The Mandarin-style collar features a soft microfiber trim

• External, Brazilian leather padded back panels provide additional protection

• Pre-curved and rotated sleeves increase comfort and performance in the riding position

• Adjustable sleeve take-up straps at the forearm and bicep help secure protective armor

• 360º Phoslite® reflective piping and Cortech's signature reflective rear triangle increase nighttime visibility

• Zippered and gusseted sleeve cuff

• Removable, CE approved armor at the elbow and shoulder with an articulated triple density back protector

• Aqua-Therm® two-stage waterproof and insulated liner can be configured or removed to best match comfort needs

• Zippered hand pockets, internal mobile phone and pouch pockets

• Adjustable waist belts, with TPR pulls, help to fine tune the fit

• Includes a jacket / pant zipper attachment with the pant side included

Looks exactly like this:

Ordered this recently and just tried it on, but I think really need an XL Tall (it's a bit too short in the waist for my tastes). Too bad because I love the bright yellow color (can you see me now?) and rugged construction of this mesh jacket. Those leather covers on the elbows and shoulders have to be good in an actual get-off.

For reference, I am 6'2" with a pretty long torso (only 32" inseams on pants) and weigh 220lbs. The fit is just snug with all liners in due to my beer gut, but that is really what you want or else the mesh would be flapping excessively when the liners are out. It does have cinch straps on the arms to preclude that flapping.

You can't get these anymore (unless you want red!) as they have discontinued the model, which is hard to understand as they were a pretty big seller. I'd like to get $120 $99 plus actual shipping to your door (should be pretty cheap).

Just to add my .02.

I have the GTX Air very similar. Love it for those +90 days, very well constructed it's held up now for over 3 years, and it doesn't hang in the closet much. This is the Midwest, Hot and Humid good old summertime.
