Sounds like bull but it's not. What's the catch? It was in salt water 5 weeks ago thanks to hurricane Helene. If this sounds familiar it's because the same thing happened to my '05 in hurricane Ian. That one was under 9 feet of water, this one only had 3 feet and for a much shorter period of time so it's in better shape. I put a new battery in it, turned the key and nothing happened so it may not be an easy fix. In any case, lots of good parts to be scavenged, forks, wheels, plastics, etc., etc. I'm keeping the saddle bags, seats and windshield and will either sell separately on this forum or you can buy them for $100 each. Located in Ft Myers Beach, FL. We're planning to head back to PA this Saturday so time is of the essence!
I think it would be great if someone is looking for a good winter project and would take the time to go thru it and get it back on the road again, hopefully documenting the process and posting it on this forum. If not I would hope guys could get some use out of the parts.
First come, first served!
