I'm in, if you don't mind selling a set to a GT rider.

Never thought I'd outride my PHIDs, but I sure needed more light on the 1088 this year. Or I could've slowed down some. Nah, more light it is.

Me: These life saving auxiliary lights

Her: You don't need those.

Her: No you don't.

Me: They'll last a life time and are a good value.

Her: So... You still don't need them.

Me: Look, I don't need to go to a strip club either, and $800 only lasts for about 30 minutes there (or so I've heard)

Her: Yes, I can see the lights are a better deal.

Me: Thought so...

Her: I want a new washer and dryer.

Her: probalby about $800

Me: Damn, well, OK.

So what ever the group buy discount comes too, it's still will cost me 2x.

Wish I had mastered your technique 40 years ago..... Well, it's too late now. I like the safety angle. But, I'm still going to buy them then tell her AFTERWARDS. Emphasizing the safety angle, of course.

I bought a black Fender Stratocaster guitar with a white pickguard from a guy a few years back who had a new Jackson arriving soon for which he needed the money so his wife wouldn't know he was getting another guitar. I asked if she wouldn't notice anyway and he explained that the trick was that ALL his electric guitars were black with white pickguards -- and she coudn't tell the difference. :lol: :lol:
