Actually, i opted for the city cases. After having a BMW with MASSIVE side cases, i was so happy to have slim cases for lane-splitting & rush hour traffic. The only drawback is the fact that you CANNOT fit a full face helmet in them. But apart from that, they are big enough for weekend trips, commuting, etc...

Yamaha Israel offered me a set of standard sidecases too - but i'll never use them, so i just took the slim ones.

The helmet is from www.sportouring.co.uk & cost 405 GBP (roughly $590 USD)

There is a lot less curve to the outside panel. Is that a standard sidebag for an 08?

(edit) Too late, saw your reply to Fairlaner

Man i like the look of the City Cases, it really sucks that Yama doesn't sell just the City lids instead of the whole saddlebags.

City cases. Shyeah, sure!

It's obvious the horsepower isn't the ONLY shortcoming in them FrenchyFeejs. :)

edit: Oh, and FFS, take a hair dryer and some Goo-Gone to those tank stickers!

You Sir, deserve a slap on the face for calling me & my bike French. <_<

And since the tank stickers annoy you so much....then they stay B)

I never implied that YOU are French.

(although ANY non-cheese-eating-surrender-monkey would threaten with a jimmykick rather than a face slap) :)
