They said the motorcyclist ran a red light and "another officer driving through the intersection hit the motorcycle", which crashed into the bus stop about 100 yards away.

I’m sure there are some attorneys standing in line for this one. :glare:

There are always attorneys waiting to take cases like this, regardless of how weak their case really is. All I can say is I hope the dirtbag rider rots.

Whatever made you think of yanking on his catheter OM? Sure the guy is bad news, but that particular form of torture? Just wondering.

His nursing care may perhaps be not quite as gentle as he'd like. One could select a larger than average catheter and insert it without the KY. One could also miss the securing device, so the catheter would pull on itself every time he moved. He might need a nasal feeding tube too..... and a rectal drainage tube......

Dang it Jill, I'll give you 45 minutes to stop that!

Holy cow Jill, you speak as if you'd actually----. No. A nurse would never do anything like that.

.

Jill?

A nurse has gotta do what a nurse has gotta do.

Speaking of which, I gotta go back to work tomorrow. Staying home and riding bikes is much more fun (and can be safer, if you work at Long Beach Memorial, where there were three shootings on Thursday).

All recovered from my surgery now (and treated very well by the nurses who took care of me).
