People get pretty pissed of when a bike is parked in "their" parking spot.

They probably thought they were teaching you a lesson.

Sorry that stuff happens.....I had it happen by another M/C rider...parked in a all M/C rally garage...someone moved my bike backwards(no I wasn't blocking anyone in),so they could park next to someones bike(I'm guessing).Backed it into a pole, and broke my two hundred dollar taillight(stock)on my VFR....About the only thing that can be done is to ride it,and never leave it,out of your sight.....sucks.......

Just tie this into your motion sensing alarm Linky ;)

My brother did me a "favor" once by dragging my bike out of the way of his wife's car so she could back out. Had a disc lock installed on my VFR but it didn't matter. The big fooker picked up the rear end and dragged it 10 feet, disc lock firmly mashed up against the calipers.

He came inside to give me the "good" news, that I didn't have to bother moving my bike. After I realized he wasn't joking, I took a deep breath, calmed down and explained why it was a very bad idea.

I really can't imagine being enough of a self-righteous, self-important, egotistical, selfish jerk to actually move someone's vehicle just so I could park where they had parked.

Once someone kindly moved an old bike I had in a (large, generally empty) parking lot. Of course, they didn't actually get out of their truck to move it, they just used the truck to give it a gentle (read 'rear wheel crushing, frame bending, motorcycle totaling) push to roll (read 'slide') it out of the parking spot and onto a grassy slope (read 'hill'). I can't fault them for not getting out of the truck, they might have had to put it in park. I saw the whole thing from my apartment window, so I didn't arrive in time to give them a hand, only thank them.

DISC LOCK.
And think about buying the one with extra capital letters and spaces. You seem to be running low. ;)
What extra spaces? Sorry, the caps lock was still on from working in CAD, and I didn't notice until later.
I was referring to the original poster....sorry. I thought my sharp stick wouldn't look as pointy if I added a reply after somebody else.

Sorry, didnt know it was a Inter Office Memo..... :dribble:

How fun would it be to catch the A - Hole moving your bike!!! Ever see the tasmanian devil, bugs bunny style tornado!

How do you know they didn't drop it?

In my experience with parking lot nazi's (read: vandals), be they "friend" or "foe", the bike actually does get dropped more often than not.

I recommend a "Three Layer Protection Plan": Disc lock, Scorpio, Smith & Wesson.

1. Disc lock prevents the bike from being moved.

2. Scoprio lets you know when someone does.

3 Smith & Wesson allows you to show that such behavior is unacceptable.
