Nice moves JB but I gotta give it to ABBA. I think it was the stretch pants although they certainly wouldn't have scored you any points..

Congrats on the renewed appreciation for of life !

Hans,

I understand where your are right now, physically, psychologically, and soulfully.

You are now in a wonderful new world, if you're willing to embrace the new, vastly different reality.

(It's really quite special, once accustomed)

Welcome to the fold my friend,

Feel free to call me if you want...

Don

ps

my favorite is 'Dancing in the Dark' by the Boss...

The only thing I saw was a guy drinking a perfectly good Sierra Nevada Pale Ale out of the bottle. Blasphemy. Somebody get that man a pint glass.

Thank you, Don (and other posters). I appreciate the insight and the offer.

I love that Dancing in the Dark video also; it might have been when I first started to notice Springsteen. My son Alexander is a HUGE fan. When he and I commuted into work together on the FJR, every morning we'd be listening to the Springsteen station on satellite radio.

At the end of Zorba the Greek, when the sleuce (sp?) they designed and built to bring logs down the mountain fails spectacularly and everyone goes home upset and disillusioned, someone asks Zorba,

"What do we do now?"

"What do we do now?" responded Zorba. "We dance!"

JB

P.S. Of course it was while dancing at a wedding that Fang blew out her tendon and is still on crutches, so that we make quite a pitiful sight trying to hobble around helping each other out like Chip and Dale, her on her crutches and me in my bathrobe with a very sore "groin." So she is never to dance again for the rest of her life. Not even on my grave, the dear.

God Damn, and here I thought I danced like a White Guy! JB, very glad to hear that you are doing great and feeling good; but, you DO NOT have a future on Soul Train!!!

My overweight/diabetic brother never took care of himself and my dad had a bet with him.Whoever survived the other would dance on the dead man's grave.

Dad won - at ~87 years old, at the funeral ceremony, stood up and asked for moment.

Then started dancing.

The audience didn't know what to do - it was great.

Apparently, pops was quite the dancer when he was younger - he actually busted out a few good moves!

What a great story! (Sorry about your brother.... :( )

After watching James Burleigh dance, I figured a nice picture of Eva Mendes would restore some order around here!

OMG I've gone blind. Wait a minute... It's OK, the sun has just set for the winter up here in the Great White North.

Won't be dancing, it's too slippery.
