So they FINALLY managed to get the bike assembled and delivered. Quick rant, I went to the dealer knowing what I wanted. I prolly overpaid but hey, whatever, they need to make a living and I want the industry to keep thriving so I basically handed them a sale. No leg work on their end. So they contact Yamaha and since they finally sold the last of their 2019's, they could place the order for a 2020. Cool. They order the bike, I put down a deposit. Get a notification on a Thursday that the bike is in PA and should be arriving early next week! To me, early next week is Monday or Tuesday. Crickets. I message them again, oh well it usually takes 5-10 days. Um, what? That's not what i was told. Well here is the link to start the loan process yadda yadda. Ok fine, do all that, finance guy rings me up, we have the title so you can come in, sign everything and then you're good to go. Great. I go in that Friday to sign and I'm told the bike arrived Thursday afternoon. Sweet, I can pick it up right? Oh no, it wont be ready till thursday as we only have 2 Yamaha techs and they're loaded since they've shortened their hours. Roll my eyes, fine. Managed to get a ton of yard work done that weekend at least. Thursday rolls around, nothing. It was raining so whatever. Friday is clearing up, weekend is looking amazing....reach out again..hey, um I want to be on this thing this weekend, whats the deal? Oh it's all set, i can have it gassed up and ready for this afternoon. Really? I gave you a no legwork sale, you have my money, and I still had to chase you for delivery? ugh!!! BUT, I now have it! Road about 200 miles Saturday and spent Sunday washing, clay bar, polishing, and waxing to keep those nasty bugs from sticking. Smoother (and cleaner) than a babies butt!
Here he is, I present Toothless:
