Excellent news Randy. We shall wait with baited breath. Will he upset a few apple carts or just ride round at the back???

I won't expect much at Donnington, but he sure gets around Laguna Seca & could very well end up on the box.

Well I think Ben is hungry enough, and he's certainly stepped up and bashed heads with Mat.

I'm glad he's getting more track time, because I think he can do well once he gets used to a GP bike. I think he might even be able to give Hayden a run for his money. Mat & Ben have really made AMA racing interesting. I also really hope he doesn't get injured like Lorenzo.

That's the million dollar question. Many riders have come from the top of their home court only to flop in the GP arena. Then again, others have come in cold and knocked it out of the park. If there's any rain (fat chance in the UK, huh?), I wouldn't expect much from him, but, you never know. He's never been at the track (but, I'll betcha he's seen it on XBox or PlayStation). The Suzuki's got around there pretty good last year. There's no debating the kid has talent (I had the pleasure of seeing him come up through the ranks when he was running the WERA circuit in the late 90s), but, it's hard to set high expectations in this scenario.

Last year, he went to Valencia, another track where he never attended, and, after 33 laps, was within a second of Chris V's times.

My prediction is that he won't win and, unless he crashes, he won't be last. How's that for going out on a limb!!!!

All things considered I think top 10 will be a satisfying result for him. At Leguna I would hope he would do better. It must be a daunting prospect to come to Europe for an American. Lots of different nationalities and people as well as the unknown tracks. I am looking forward to the race very much as we have several Brit hopefuls (125's) as well as JT. I'll be watching at home as the circuit will be a lock out with JT there, the viewing will be much better on the box as well. We get to most of the BSB rounds so can be forgiven for missing the crush and the traffic mayhem.
