Not sure but I put a Gen III shock on my Gen II no problem.

No, but the OP said said his is a 2010, so it is a genII. You can use GenIII "A" model on a GenII.

No reason someone can't put a GenIII shock on a GenII also. My Wilbers on my '07 is off a GenI bike.
So, if GenI fits GenII and GenII fits GenIII then GenIII will fit GenI. Make sense?

Hell no. As soon as I knew it was you I ignored what I read!
I think I got cross threaded here. I thought I was responding to this question in another thread where the OP has a 2010. I have no experience with the Gen I platform, but I understand they are interchangeable.
