Off topic, but then it's your topic ...

My server used to be a PC with another PC running as a backup.

Then it crashed in a big way. A quick temporary rebuild

got me by for a few months.

Now, a total rebuild onto a Raspberry Pi with a NAS box for storage (and supplying power to the Pi)



Saves heat (hence "cool"), space, noise, and power. I estimate it's saving me about £250 a year in electricity. And tucked out of the way, so SWMBO is happier. So, I'm happier.

I update the site on my Mac, then push it to the Pi. Seems to work

. A Mac backup onto a completely separate RAIDed NAS provides system security.
