is the american 2003 FJR identical to the 2001 2002 european?

I think I have one of the oldest FJR on the planet..

Covered under the FJR Model Comparison Matrix.
Offtopic: about the FJRcomparo file - I noticed about wheelbase that 2006-2008 Gen II has shorter wheelbase than 2009-2012 Gen II. I thought that the difference in wheelbase is only between Gen I and Gen II/III since Gen I has shorter rear arm - is this accurate?

Thanks.

I scraped the information from the Yamaha website as each model year was introduced over the years. 2016 Example: Specifciations/Dimensions area here. It's what Yamaha published on their promotional website.
