What a race the second one was!

Toseland won the first and battled with Baylis throughout the second. Baylis pulled out a 1.5 second lead and Toseland pulled it back. On the last lap he timed his pass perfectly and led by a bike length into the final chicane. Somehow Baylis got the drive and won by 9/1000's of a second!

I had evens £50 on Toseland to do the double and am still shaking from the finish. Bugger!

I Tivo'd the races, man what a finish! I didn't realize that Bayliss actually lost his pinky finger, I thought they menat he broke it. Sucks that Haga broke though, tough times for Yamaha at Assen. Corser seized his motor in Race 1 and Haga broke in race 2.

Baylis also landed on his family jewels on the tank from 4 feet in the air in the same crash. Consequently he was wearing a *cricket box in the most recent meeting. He was still suffering with the pain 3 weeks on!

*Cricket box :Hard protective case worn over male wobbily bits to protect from direct hits by hard fast moving cricket balls.

Incredible races. I stayed up for these as they were on TV very late here. That last race had both Sherri and I jumping up and down. She's never been that excited about a bike race before. Now she looks at her FZ6 differently

Not sure I'd want a gum ball eating bird sitting on my wobbly bits :lol

I'll stick to hockey, thank you.
Good man. Hockey rules.

I was amazed that Haga went from 15th to 5 on lap 1 of race 2. And he went from 15th to 7th on lap 1 or race 1. What is with that guy in qualifying? Imagine if he'd start in 5th?
