Tose was taken out in the first corner by Lanzi. Re-joined half a lap behind and finished 7th. Haga won and Biaggi was 6th. If Haga wins race 2 Tose has to finish 7th or above to take the title.
Fantastic race with lots of paint swopping has to be watched despite knowing the result. Incredible ride by Tose and also Baylis who bullied his way through to 2nd.
