This is great. Got called to NY for work next week. Looks like I'll probably just ride down for breakfast and then come home and then head off to NY

That sucks Randy, although it wouldn't be the first time that I rode to Winchester just to eat breakfast.

Good seeing you again Randy. Had a good ride, and you will pleased to know that my bike is definitely cleaner now after 200 miles of riding in the rain.

All in all, a good day in the saddle.

You gotta be shittin me...it rained?!?!?!?!?

Wouldn't be Winchester without a little rain.

After thinking about it the whole way home, I think I know what the problem was. At least I think I have an idea. Remember me pointing out that the shield didn't retract? I rode down with the windshield up, but, put it down for the ride home. When it was down, after I would shut it off, the N light didn't stay illuminated. So, turned it back on, put the shield up, then turned the key off. It retracted fine. But, while it was retracting, with the key off, the N light stayed lit until it was the whole way down. So, I'm thinking it might have something to do with the windshield electronics. Perhaps there was something lodged in there preventing it from retracting? Or maybe something in there is just starting to fail?

Oh well. Made it to New York. Gonna go for a run now.

Was great seeing you, Gerard, and the rest of the gang.

Will see you again soon.

Hey Randy, Glad you got to the bottom of the neutral light issue. Sounds to be like something electrical, as if something was stuck in there, you would have known about it when you tried to retract the windshield. Hope you get it sorted soon. Have a good trip to New York, and I will catch up with you soon.

Pete
