Hey EJ - - looks like our wives will finally get to meet.

If you are looking for company on the way out, you might want to PM thatguy on STN.

He's also riding out Saturday morning.

i'll be out of town with the family on vaca :) but I hate to miss a ride and a roast! :(

sorry to hear you guys won't be able to make it. whether you can make it or not, i should have the route sheets available (and .gdb files - thanks ski!) next week if anyone is interested in them

Sounds good, weather cooperating, see you there !
Super! Keeping a running list on the 1st page of those from here that are planning on coming. If you're coming and you're not on the list, let me know.

Also, let me know if you would be interested in coming back to my house following the ride. I'd be more than happy to throw some burgers on the grill.

Well, didn't get to meet you Randy, but a few of us did get to watch your group (almost all FJR's) proceeding on the 5 counties ride. We stopped fos gas...

Met FJRski & Eric & Glenn (on a Connie) & wives & we had a real nice ride. Ended up back at the diner for some chow before the ride home. Thank's for the effort & the planning, that ride sure had some exercise in it !

Thanks to everyone that came out and sorry I wasn't able to spend more time talking with some of you. I had an absolute blast - hope you did, too.

Glad to hear you made it home ok, Tom. I won't tell you how good the pasta was :)

I was almost there <_< . I'm sorry that I missed it. Glad you all had a safe and great ride.

I was just reading you other post, Bill. I was looking forward to meeting you and Fred was looking forward to seeing you, also. Glad you made it home, but, I am truly sorry to hear about your troubles.

Randy,

I just wanted to thank you again here on your forum for a well planned, great ride with a bunch of great people. Yesterday was tough to beat, I think a day like that is the pinnacle of motorcycling, Great roads, great weather, great bikes, and most importantly, great people! I will definately be planning more Central PA tours in the future.

Thanks again,

Jerry

Very kind of you, Jerry. I'm glad you had a good time. Anytime you're in central PA, please let me know.

+1 on what JamminJere had to say..

Sunday was the pinnacle of motorcycling, IMHO.

Great roads, great weather, great bikes, and most importantly, great people!

Thanks so much for all the effort that went into it. From this participant's perspective, it was glitch-free effortless fun.

Wife & I had a great time. When I bought this bike, she said that she would not be taking any overnight trips on it. On the way home, she said she would take more trips like this. Our ride home was a fantastic early morning passage through the PA country side, hitting parts of 74, 34, 895, 125, 443, you get the picture. Things couldn't have turned out any better. Yes, we will be making some more trips out through central PA.

Thanks Randy

and that's what makes this worth doing. you're welcome. glad you and the wife had a great time. thanks for coming!

Thanks Randy, had a great time. Wish I would have gotten there a little earlier so I could have met some more of the FJR riders and coordinated to ride with them.

My wife and I ended up riding out with a group: GSXR, R-6 and a cruiser; didn't make it back up to Carlisle cause the rest off the group split for home once we got through Gettysburg (nice people though). The route was excellent, took us through some back roads of the battlefield that I didn't even know where there

It was the longest ride my wife has been on to date. SHe didn't like the highway ride to get there (too much wind), but loved the backroads. We took a copy of all the routes you had available, and will definately be hitting the rest.

It was nice to meet you, FJRSKI and Gary! if you're heading a little south for a ride let me know.

Dan & Laura
