Mine worked fine the day of setup. Nothing I did today would make it register track or message, though all lights indicated it was working and sending. I called CS. They answered in seconds. Had me power it off and back on. Then it worked. Hopefully that's isolated. Still trying to figure out if privacy zones are possible within spot.

If you set it up to report to Spotwalla for recording your trips and making the trips visible to friends (or publicly), you can use privacy settings (secure zones) there. Lots of people use Spotwalla with their Spot devices as well as with other tracking devices. Easy to use and easy to share a trip.

Good point. I already use spotwalla and used SWConnect until I acquired the Spot. Uncle Hud's security team hipped me to how to set up security zones in das walla. Was hoping for one stop shopping within SPOT's website.
