Mixed stuff;

Remove handle bar risers / Install new Heli triple clamp (THANKS CHRIS D!!)

Install new ignition switch

Install new ignition switch relay

Lubricate steering head bearing

change fork oil and replace fork seals

So, what's with the three different beakers of fork oil? Are you showing us that the amount of oil you took out wasn't equal to the amount you put in? Or are you showing us that you mixed the two different weight fork oils to get the weight you wanted?

Thanks for clearing up that picture, I though it may have been samples for drug and alcohol testing.

And all I did was get on the bike and ride it.

+1 for 08fjr4me. All I saw were a thousand parts of which I would lose at least 1/10th before I ever started putting it back together. And I would put some parts in the wrong order. I am very impressed with all of you who have the knowledge and patience to perform the maintenance to the degree that you do.

What few skills I have are of the artistic nature and not mechanical. So I will just enjoy the rides and depend on others to work on mine except for the basic maintenance. :yahoo:

- the two different weight fork oils were used to get the weight desired

- I did NONE of this work, except order the parts from Gary at Mondak...I have very few tools, and no place to do the work (live on a military base in Korea)

- The mechanic takes pictures as a standard part of his work...I was just lucky that he shared...and I thought the group might be interested to see what kind of service can be achieved over here....rode 500 mi the last few days & everything is great...!!

So where were (are) the anti-theft screws on the ignition ?? I see 2 phillips head for the lock cylinder & I assume the 2 cap screws w/blue loctite are for the switch assy. ??
