I saw 4 FJR's at the Mile today and couldn't help but wonder if they belonged to board members?

Yamaha wasn't very strong in the feature but Suzuki placed 2 in the top 10. It's amazing to watch those flattrackers' on the curves. Pure poetry in motion IMOS

The blue 06 parked off of turn 4 by the restrooms and along side of a BMW GT and a BMW LT was mine and the beemers were my brothers GT and a nother riding buddy's LT. Pulled out of the parking spot at 4:35 pm and was behind my garage in Hills Iowa (235 Miles) at 7:35 pm !!!! we got this going home trip thing down pretty good . The Yamaha is a old 550 vision that has been punched to a 750 .Last year it would not hold together for the 10 lap length of a heat race, and this year it has made 4 finales that I have witnessed. That is impressive progress.

I parked in the infield but walked all over. Yeah I wondered if that was a 550 or perhaps a TDM motor I thought those were V-twin also. In the 3rd qualifier the Yamaha looked like it was hooked up, he was makin' up ground and passing well.

IF one of the major companies put some effort into it, I'm sure they could develop something to beat the XR's. But, I'm not sure the interest is there for many reasons.

I only live like 45 mins. from the track so I took the scenic route home, marveling at how nice my '04 was to ride.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at the mile. TH
