I found the below site where they make heavy duty stators for various motorcycles. Of course the FJR isn't listed but it might be worth looking into whether or not they can modify it. I know the 2006 and up puts out a little more than previous years but I still don't know if it will be enough for me.
My list of farkles that will be installed next month will include:
J&M CB 2003 intercom/CB
Phillips PHID
Moto Lights
Garmin 2820
Passport X50
Scorpio alarm
Heated grips
Heated vest
Silverstreak 250 watt linear amp for the CB
The major concerns and currnet draw will come from the linear amp and the potential of 3 sets of lights running. I know I can't run the heated vest and everything at the same time. The linear amp might draw as much as 25 amps on peak output. I saw a post about the output of the 2006 FJR before but can't find it.
Here is the link. The cool part is they offer a lifetime warranty also.
