I'm having the hardest time finding a Stem Mount that's not a RAM ball.

I want to center mount my Zumo 595 with a Touratech locking holder.

I'm looking for a plate because what's the purpose of having a locking mount if you're gonna put it on a RAM ball?

Amazing to me how little there is on the web.

There's a Techmount with a ball and one with a plate but can't tell from any sellers what the 'kit' includes and which is which.

Seems like a pretty basic product. Any of you guys find a solution?

Thanks

I took the handle/bolt off of the standard ram arm and used a stainless allen bolt. You could take it a step further and use a security torx bolt.

I have the Techmount FJR specific stem mount that replaces the big stem nut but mine has an articulating arm and a mounting plate instead of a RAM ball like you're looking for. They don't have this currently shown on their website but you might give them a call and see if they will make one up for you. They are very customer service oriented and I have gotten them to change out components (like the type of plate) and they are happy to do it.

Can't help you with your plate question, but I agree with those who suggest removing the knob on the ram arm and using an allen bolt. Also, Ram sells locking knobs to replace the standard knob on the arm.

BTW, if you are looking for a less costly option for locking down your Zumo 39x/59X than the Touratech check these out. https://www.zumoaccessories.com/

I have one and I like it.

I may have the rigid arm type and a small plate mount (think PO put Velcro on it) in the archives. The stem nut is long gone. Will take a peek. If I still have it, can email pics direct and is yers if ya think it will work the way you want it to.
