Aha, gotcha. FWIW, I'd already done one throttle body sync with all the crap in there and it was a right pain. Since I was going to check valve clearances and have the cover off, I figured it was a perfect time to clean things up for future syncs and install the cover plates. Pretty much a no brainer at that point.

whats that uncapped metal tube lower left corner ?

That would be where the fuel line from the missing gas tank hooks up to.

It looks like he disconnected the line between the before and after pics.

that's what I thought, Thanks .

I did remove the tank 1 time to do the throttle spring unwind.

It looks to me like the elbow on the stock plates would have enough material to tap and plug them with a bolt.

Yea, pulled it off of there to get it out of the way while I was ripping hoses off.

I pull the whole tank off when working under there. In the long run it's just easier than working around a propped up tank and doesn't take that long.

Did the same, along with CCT replacement. Only us goofy guys can appreciate what a thing of beauty that is. Nice

pics, so all you people tell your old lady how to buy some Wyn-Pro block off plates for Christmas.
