How 'bout that skinney lad from down under ? !!! I DO love Valentino and Nicky but it is great to see some "youngsters" get them some ! And I was really happy to see Hopper get a podium at last, such talent on such a surprisingly crappy Suzook. They seem to be getting better but everybody is going to have to step up to keep up with this kid and his Duc !

I was a stoner on a Ducati once upon a time...Mendicino Co Red Bud and a broken down ole Dharma 750...I didnt win anything but a grin !!! Ahhhh...the good ole daze...

Anyway the racin' at the GP level is awesome this season so far !!!!!

Those Duc's absolutely own every circuit with a long straight this year. Rossi can still out-ride Casey in the technical stuff but loses it on the straights. If Casey's skills continue to improve he'll be a real menace (as if he's not already).

I think he has a psychological edge on Rossi now as well.
I'm sure you're right on that.

However, that psychological advantage might be pretty fragile. If Fiat / Yamaha manages to get some more top end out of Rossi's ride (doubtful) or the boys at Stoner's garage have a poor day tuning the Duc, then Casey's mindset will change quickly. (For the record, I don't really see either of those things happening).

More likely cause for Casey's demise in the points (notice I said MORE likely, not PROBABLE) will be if he gets over-excited or doesn't pay attention and lets that Duc get away from him. Mistakes are not an option at this point. Rossi is hungry after his fiasco last year w/ The Kid.
